Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH under its RECAP4NDC Project invites bids from potential consultancy firms for Hiring communication agency for supporting Forest Landscape Restoration (FLR) interventions in the state of Uttarakhand under RECAP4NDC
Background:
Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmBH (GIZ) - India is implementing a six-year project with the title “Restore, Conserve and Protect Forest and Tree Cover for NDC Implementation in India (RECAP4NDC)” under the Indo-German bilateral cooperation. The Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change (MoEFCC) Government of India is the Indian political partner. The project’s intended impact is to support India achieve its targets on restoring degraded forests and landscapes inside and outside forests as defined in the National Forest Policy and the NDC thereby improving livelihoods of forest dependent communities and farmers. By 2029, RECAP4NDC aims at achieving ecological, socio-economic, governance, and climate change benefits in 0.4 million ha of the forest landscape. The Project intends to work in 4 regions: Uttarakhand, Delhi NCR (covering NCT Delhi, Haryana’s and Rajasthan’s districts in NCR), Gujarat, and Maharashtra.
Objective of assignment: The objective of the assignment is strategic development and design of targeted communication products and campaigns exclusively in the local language Hindi. All public campaigns, communications, and public relations activities will be designed to increase visibility and outreach of FLR interventions across selected intervention sites in Uttarakhand.
