The tender is for the auction of meat/chicken stalls numbered 01, 02, 04, 05, 07, and 08. Interested individuals must pay an advance amount of 10,000 and an auction fee of 500 plus applicable taxes online before the auction. The advance amount can be adjusted against the security deposit of successful bidders and will be refunded to unsuccessful bidders after their application. Successful bidders must deposit 20% of the total security amount related to the stalls for one year. If a successful bidder leaves before the end of the term, the deposit will be forfeited. Bidders must submit separate bids for each stall and pay any applicable taxes separately. The license period will be until 30/03/2025, and the successful bidder must hand over the stall peacefully on 31/03/2025. The successful bidder must also pay additional charges for utilities and taxes. The license fee must be paid by the 7th of each month through the e-cantonment portal. Bidders with outstanding dues to the council cannot participate in the auction. A contract must be signed with the council before taking possession of the stall. The council reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without reason. The license holder must obtain a license for the business conducted in the stall and cannot conduct any other business without permission. The license can be revoked for non-compliance with the terms. |
