Construction of damaged R/ Wall in km 34(8-10) C.H 33.880 On N.H 534 (119). The contractor shall quote his/their rates on item rate basis against the item entered in Schedule ‘B’. The contractor shall submit earnest money in the form of NSC/Post office saving pass book/fixed deposit receipt of any schedule bank pledged in the name of Executive Engineer NH, Division P.W.D. Dhumakot Distt. Pauri Garhwal. All the work shall be carried out according to the detailed specification of the P.W.D./MORTH and in accordance with the circulars issued by the Engineer-in-Chief from time to time and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge of the work. All materials will be supplied in accordance with P.W.D/MORTH detailed specification and E-N-C/Chief Engineer circulars issued from time to time. Inferior quality of material if collected will have to be removed by the contractor at his own cost within seven days after the receive of orders from Engineer-in-Charge. The material will be stacked at road side as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The tendered rates shall exclude GST but include cost of material, Royalty, Labour cess paid by the contractor, screening and testing charges, Tool’s and plants, Carriage of the materials to the site, stacking & removal of any rejected material from site as ordered by Engineer-in-Charge. Royalty, Income Tax and labour cess shall be deducted as per prevailing rates at time of payment. Any letter dispatched by registered post to the contractor at the address given by him in Schedule “B” shall be supposed to be delivered even if it is not acknowledged by him. Quantities are liable to variation on either side for which no claim of the contractor shall be entertained. Any recovery if pointed out by T.A.C. or Three Tier Quality Control Wing shall be recovered from the contractor bill even after bill is finally paid. The tenderer should see the site of work and get acquainted with the problems and difficulties of site of work before tendering no claim whatsoever shall be entertained on account of site conditions. Water for construction purpose shall have to be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. No tender shall be entertained without general stamp paper of Rs. 100 along with revenue stamp of Rs. 1.00 duly signed by the contractor regarding the validity of tender along with undertaking. The time of completion as shown in this tender is for completion of the entire work. Contractor will be responsible himself for timely arrangement of materials, T&P, Machinery, Labours etc. required for the completion as per progress schedule of the work, Rainy season period is included in the total period of completion. No time extension shall be allowed to contractor for rains and illness. The contractors whose tender is accepted will have to furnish a security deposit as per prevailing percentage of the value of tender and sign the agreement within 7 days after the contractor is required to do so, failing which the earnest money deposited by him will be forfeited and acceptance withdrawn. The earnest money and security, if furnished in the shape of NSC/Post office saving pass book/fixed deposit receipt of any schedule bank pledged in the name of Executive Engineer NH Division P.W.D. Dhumakot Distt. Pauri Garhwal, the same will be as per format obtainable from the department. Payment shall be made as per availability of funds and credit limits. Contractor is to carry out the work in such a way as not to interfere unnecessarily or improperly with public convenience. During execution of work contractor shall be fully responsible for making serviceable all basic public amenities like water supply, village foot path, irrigation gools etc. The contract accepting authority has reserved the right to reject any one or all tenders without any reason. Conditional, Incomplete, Unsigned tenders are liable to be rejected by the accepting authority. Defect liability period shall be one year for non-bituminous work and two year for bituminous work. Department shall not be responsible for any dispute or litigation regarding quarrying. It shall be sole responsibility of contractor. Labour Cess @ 1% of bond amount shall be deducted from running and Final payments. Security Deposit (Performance Security) shall be deposited in the form of NSC/Post office saving pass book/fixed deposit receipt of any schedule bank pledged in the name of Executive Engineer NH, Division P.W.D. Dhumakot Distt. Pauri garhwal, the same will be as per formal obtainable from the department. Additional performance security shall be deposited by contractor as per G.O. No. 6447/III(2)/11-20 (lk-) /11 Dated 02-01-2013, G.O. No. 1426/III(2)/11-20(lk-)/11 Dated 28-02-2013 and G.O. No 770/III(2)/17-20(lk-)/2011 Vh-lh- Dated 12-06-2017. The contractor shall make the road open to traffic for inspection of work during contract period. |
